About Avonaire

Where it all began … Avonaire Ltd was started over 35 years ago by husband and wife team, David and Claire Grimmer. Operated from home with just 3 members of staff, until they moved to Barnack Trading Estate. Avonaire is now a small family business with 8 staff members including Dave & Claire’s daughter, Sarah Shrubsole, working in Accounts.

Alongside our Directors we are managed by Geoff May. A very experienced senior engineer with a wealth of knowledge from his 30 plus years in the industry. Sarah works in the office alongside Geoff, Dave & Claire and is often the first point of contact for our customers.

Over the decades Avonaire has become a well known and trusted name for Air Conditioning in the South West and surrounding areas.

Our engineers are the glue which holds us together and we are very lucky to have a trusted, skilled team. Based in South Bristol our engineers cover all of the South West of England and Wales. We’re known for our friendly, honest staff and excellent overall customer satisfaction.
